Made for Noah & Daisy · Now for your dog too

Two dogs. One question that never had a good answer: is this food actually safe? We built the tool we needed: it reads the whole label, catches what is toxic to dogs, and tells you what is checked and what is AI. Never marketing claims.

Same tool. Different verdicts.

Two example scans from a Senior Husky with a chicken allergy. The grade changes based on what the food actually contains — and what your dog actually needs.

Peanut Butter · for Daisy (14yr Husky)

2 FLAGGED7 SAFE4 CLAIMS
Good news for Daisy — Overall, this treat is a reasonable occasional option for her, with some genuinely beneficial ingredients like fish oil and Vitamin E that align well with the needs of an aging dog. The two flagged ingredients — peanut butter and coconut oil — deserve your attention: both are high in fat, and when combined in a single treat, the saturated fat load could contribute to weight gain or digestive upset over time…

4 FLAGGED11 SAFEALLERGEN MATCH
Important for Daisy — This product is unfortunately a poor fit for her given the very first ingredient — chicken — which is a documented allergen for her and would likely trigger an immune response with regular feeding. Beyond the allergen concern, the 'natural flavor' ingredient is an additional hidden risk…

How it works.

Three steps, starting with the bag in your hand.

You take the photo. The AI does the rest — and tells you which parts are checked against a source.

1

Photo the label

Any bag, can, treat, or supplement. Phone camera or an existing photo — both work.

2

AI reads it, honestly

Every ingredient explained, ingredients toxic to dogs caught by rule with their sources, marketing claims checked separately. What the AI wrote is labelled as AI.

3

Grade for YOUR dog

Life stage, allergies, health conditions — the same food grades differently for different dogs.

What we don't do

No one pays us to say their food is good.

Zero brand ads

No manufacturer can buy a better grade. Ever. We'll never take display ads, sponsored placements, or 'partner program' fees.

Zero affiliate kickbacks

We don't earn commission when you buy a product we grade. The grade is what we'd tell a friend, not what earns us a cut.

No dressed-up guesses

Warnings about ingredients toxic to dogs link to the studies behind them. Everything else is marked as an AI explanation until we have checked a source for it — we never pass off a guess as a citation.

Who this is for.

Senior dog parents (7+ years)

Aging metabolism, joint support, sodium sensitivity. Personalized grading weights senior-specific concerns. Daisy (14, Husky) is our first test case.

Dogs with allergies or sensitivities

Register each allergen once. Every scan auto-flags matches — no more reading labels with a magnifying glass at the pet store.

Treat and supplement checkers

Treats, chews, toppers and supplements have labels too. Scan the extras you add on top of meals, not just the main bag.

Multi-dog households

One plan covers up to 3 dogs. Same treat, different grades — Daisy's senior profile sees it differently from Noah's adult profile.

Questions.

How is this different from reading the ingredient list myself?

We explain every ingredient, catch the ones toxic to dogs by rule, check the marketing claims on the bag, and grade the food for your dog's life stage, allergies and health conditions. One scan does what would take you an hour of Googling per product.

Do you work with raw, BARF, or freeze-dried food?

Yes. If there's a visible ingredient label, we can analyze it — freeze-dried food, toppers, treats and supplements included.

Is this a substitute for a vet?

No — and we make that clear on every analysis. We surface evidence and flag concerns. Your vet makes clinical decisions. The medical disclaimer appears on every scan result.

How accurate is the AI?

The AI can be wrong, so we tell you where it stands alone. Ingredients toxic to dogs are caught by fixed rules, not by the AI, and link to their sources. Every other explanation is marked as an AI explanation until we've checked a source for it. Each ingredient also gets an evidence label — Clinical Evidence / Limited Evidence / Claims Only.

What about brand X? I've heard it's great/terrible.

We grade the ingredient list, not the brand reputation. That's why we don't take affiliate deals — we couldn't stay honest about a brand if they were paying us. Two different products from the same brand can get very different grades.

Is my data private?

Your dog profiles and scan history are visible only to you. We don't sell personal data. Aggregate, anonymized statistics may be used to improve analysis — nothing personally identifiable.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, anytime, from the Billing page in your account. No app-store lock-in, no retention call. Billing runs through Stripe.

Why should I pay when ChatGPT can read a label for free?

A general chatbot will confidently miss an ingredient that is toxic to dogs, and it will not tell you when it is guessing. Here toxic ingredients are caught by rule with their sources, the grade is made for your dog's profile, and anything the AI wrote alone is labelled as such.
